Been a craptastic week, work-wise.  Got thru with a little help from co-workers.  Much appreciated.  We've never been this busy, and that's not a good thing, given that I work in the appeals department.  Nope, people ain't happy.

Stupid Biscuits

I made bird foo-er, Buttermilk Biscuits the other day.  Followed a Southern Living Recipe.  I took a picture of the poor things (400 degrees 15 minutes was TOO LONG), but even Blogger doesn't like my biscuits.  Won't upload the picture.  They weren't horrible, we did manage to eat a few of them, but as Chuck mentioned, they weren't "savory", and the birds got the rest of them.  Will attempt again, some other time.

Snap, Crackle, Pop, Bang

The last one, Bang, hasn't happened to us this AM, as we are still in the house.  It sounds like Rice Crispies outside.  Sleet.  Loads of it.  All day.  Tried to get a picture of the boring whiteness.  But it's too dark for boring whiteness.  Imagine that!
