Good news on the Daughter. She will be the Boss of some people. Boss with Keys. And Powers. I think she'll make a good one, because unlike the folks mentioned in the previous post, she has no "book learnin' " when it comes to being a manager. She's had 4 or 5 years of ACTUAL ON THE JOB training. Which means she will know whereof she speaks. Like my Boss. People fall over themselves to work for my boss and then marvel at the wonderfulness of working for someone that'll treat you as an adult. IF you act like an adult. And chances are you do, or she wouldn't have chosen you in the first place. Over the years, we (Boss & I) have observed that the "bad seeds" in the department were the employees gained by merging departments and whatnot, not employees hand picked by her Bossness.
Cold again. And windy. 37 degrees right here right now. 80 for the daughter's first big day. So proud of you, Squid! Congratulations!
