Why are they always so clueless?
1. Within the past two months, you have implemented a new system.
2. The new system was programmed by monkeys. Monkeys that don't know sign language, even.
3. The trainer of this system is someone who had NEVER USED IT prior to training the rest of us.
4. Program is flakey, iffy, spotty in it's operation. (During my last call to report an outage, I told the IT chick that I imagined everytime I call in to report a problem, the person that thought this program was a good idea was being poked with a stick. I was asked to join a conference call of IT people and frustrated users. I learned that all users don't have the same version of this glorious piece of crap).
Have I mentioned this to the Powers that Be? Yes. I appreciate the position that my boss is in, the poo doth flow downhill. It's the Higher Ups, the Farther Removed that WANT... ANSWER... NOW.
It will not be fixed until the appropriate person (top level executive, friend of top level executive) is affected in an adverse manner.
