Election Evening

On the way home from work, we stopped at the corner store to buy beer.  It was just 6 PM, the polls had just closed.  The parking lot was crowded.  I waited in Little Darlin' while Chuck went in.  He overheard several of the locals wondering out loud why the store wasn't open.  He mentioned to the well informed electorate that it was "Election Day, place isn't open 'till the polls close. At 6."

I'm glad some don't take the time to vote.
